About Arthur Greenhouses
“In Holland we grew peonies and other cut flowers for the international market, along with shrubs and perennials for the garden markets… farming is in the blood,” says Patrick van den Eijnden. A dream to expand their business brought Patrick and his wife, Joanna Baars, to Arthur, Ontario in 2007.
Today, with 3 greenhouses (9,000 square feet) and 10 acres of produce and cut-flower field production, the couple offers over 500 varieties of shrubs, plants, trees and perennials – more than they can possibly carry to market! To fully appreciate the breadth of their services, plants in bloom, hanging baskets, planters and produce, Patrick and Joanna insist that you visit them.
