About Gypsy Family Farm
MEMBER SINCE 2010
Ted Smith’s market stall is a bit of a circus: everything on his “table of bizarre & unusual” produce has a story he gladly shares with curious visitors. Ted describes his farm as “an intense poly-cultural blend of virtually everything that can be produced in our area.” From ground cherries to bouquets of “crayon carrots” to tasty home-made jams & jellies he refers to as his “midnight projects,” Ted’s stall reflects a passionate commitment to mixed farming. In his spare time, he writes a weekly gardening column and runs a consumer-driven farm-share program. After all, “nature loves diversity.”
