Farmers’ Markets Ontario® is launching its second Instagram Photo Contest!
The contest runs from September 15 to October 15.
The Farmers’ Markets Ontario Instagram Photo Contest is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase all the pretty products, incredible people and good vibes that make your favourite farmers’ market so amazing. Whether it’s a sweet pastry, your favourite vendor or a display of fruits and vegetables that you find impressive, let your creativity guide you and have fun snapping photos that celebrate your market.
Take your best shot and submit your photos before October 15. Please see details below.
How to enter:
- Visit your local farmers’ market.
- Snap and share a photo on Instagram and use the hashtag #LoveONFarmersMarkets and tag @Farmers_Markets_Ont
- Mention which farmers’ market you visited.
- Like/follow Farmers Markets Ontario @Farmers_Markets_Ont

- 1st place: $250
- 2nd place: $150
- 3rd place: $75
The fine print:
Contest participants must be a resident of Ontario, age 18 years and older. Photos must be taken between September 15 – October 15, 2018 at a Farmers’ Markets Ontario member farmers’ market (see list of eligible Ontario farmers’ markets at farmersmarketsontario.com). All entries must include the name of the market where the photo was shot. Contestants may enter up to once per day. Duplicate photo entries are not valid. Winning photos will be chosen from entries that follow Farmers’ Markets Ontario on Instagram (@Farmers_Markets_Ont) and have met the guidelines outlined above. Winners will be notified via Instagram when the winning photos are re-posted (with full credit given) to the winner’s account by Farmers’ Markets Ontario. To claim any prize, selected entrants will be required to email fmo@farmersmarketsontario.com within 10 days of being notified and provide a full mailing address. By submitting photos, entrants agree to allow Farmers’ Markets Ontario to use the photos in marketing materials, their website and social media channels.
