“It just comes naturally to me,” says Len when he enthusiastically explains his reasons for following the lifestyle practised by his dad. Today, the Gauthier’s cultivate a 30 acre market garden, along with 4000 square feet of greenhouse space. They are justly proud of the many varieties of vegetables, flowers, herbs and bedding plants that are produced using organic techniques. Happily, Len Gauthier’s natural’ passion for farming has been passed on to his son, Kevin, who is poised to become the 3rd generation to follow the L & D Greenhouse tradition.
