About Maizal

The name of the farm where we grow is called Cavaleiro Farm. We are but one of many small enterprises who compose the farm business eco-system here. On our plot, we grow OP maize, integrating it with beans, squash, flowers, amaranth, and sometimes other veggies.

We dry the maize in fall-winter and then when the moisture has been reduced, we grind the kernels with our mill in Toronto at our Mexican Café called Maizal. Farm is located at 6905 18th Side Road, King Road & Hwy #27.
