“We’re about the smallest dairy processing plant in Canada, producing artisan yogurt, milk, chevre, two types of aged cheese and feta,” says Katie Normet. Katie’s first job was milking goats – and she’s never stopped. With a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, she rounded out her education by attending an artisan cheese school in Vermont. Katie believes “animals that are fed well and treated well produce well” and locals vouch for the sweet taste of her farmfresh goat milk. Along with rave reviews, the farm also earned the 2008 Grand River Watershed Award for environmental practices!
