“From hobby to passion,” is Patti Chalmers’ description of her family’s evolution over the past 4 years: from avid backyard gardening to a produce business involving the cultivation of a 21 acre spread which includes 4 large greenhouses. Always researching and experimenting, they are able to offer their clients new varieties of fruit, vegetables and flowers and share gardening advice to promote success with the plants purchased from Spring Hill Farms. Patti confirms that being visible from Highway 11 is a definite asset and it’s no secret that “we are the only blueberry producer north of Barrie & Pembroke”.
