About Thabet Farms (Prima Orchards)
MEMBER SINCE 2015
We started Prima Orchards in 1999 and planted our trees in 2004, 2005 and 2006 successively. We love the feel of the orchard, its size and how it has brought our family closer together. It has also brought us closer to the communities we live and work in. Our orchard has given us the opportunity to make many friends and acquaintances and truly feel as part of the community.
Many of the apple varieties that we have selected are not available widely. We have gone off the beaten path and have brought in varieties that begin to bear fruit in early August through October giving our communities a continuous supply of fruit throughout the summer
and early fall. We have also brought in many varieties of pears for the pear lover in your family. We look forward to you tasting our varieties
and enjoying the taste of fresh, crisp apples and pears that have been minimally treated and grown with the utmost natural care.

| Our Practices | Organic non certified. No additives to the soil. Minimal spraying that is timed and regulated based on regular visual and trap inspection of the field and what is being observed season to season. The rule is, the kids need to be allowed to pick and eat an apple off the tree unwashed. Once fruit has set and size begins to grow, spray is only introduced in a year where an infestation is noticed and the full crop will be lost. |
