Slow Roots Farm formerly Capital Greens began in the Summer of 2016. Since then, we have been using natural and sustainable methods to grow the highest quality, chemical-free vegetables. We are a small farm and specialize in small veggies. Baby leafy greens of many varieties, tomatoes of all kinds, root vegetables and herbs are some of the crops we grow. We grow everything right in the City of Ottawa so as to cut down on transportation costs and emissions, and to increase the transparency of our local food system.
